After a 19-year career as a professional footballer, Sven Kums retired in June 2025, ready to take on a new challenge. Throughout his journey, he saw the inefficiencies, missed opportunities, and the need for more transparency in the football transfer world.
Determined to make a difference, he joined forces with his wife, a digital marketer, to rethink how transfers could work faster, clearer, and more professional for everyone involved.
Together, they created Honection, a platform built by people who understand the game, and who are passionate about making it better.
They want to empower players, coaches, clubs, and agents with the right tools to manage their careers and transfers, with more control, more clarity, and fewer obstacles.
